ARREST –DORSEYVILLE BALL PARK EVENT ON APRIL 01, 2023

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tre M. Geason, 29, 165 Daggs Street, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from an ongoing investigation at a privately sanctioned event at the Dorseyville Ball Park near Paincourtville, LA on April 01, 2023.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a shooting incident at the heavily attended event.

While investigating that matter, deputies encountered Tre M. Geason pushing a deputy while the deputy was attempting to arrest another individual. Later in the event Tre M. Geason came back to the scene and became physical with deputies. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he turned himself into deputies on Wednesday.

As a result of this incident, Tre M. Geason was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

– As to Tre M. Geason:
*Battery of a Police Officer
*Resisting an Officer with Violence or Force
*Resisting an Officer (5 Counts)

Tre M. Geason remains incarcerated with bond set at $6,000.
