ARREST WARRANT FOR SIMPLE BATTERY, DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – BRANDON MATTHEW STEELE

BAYOU L’OURSE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brandon Matthew Steele, 43, of 6053 Bayou Black Road, Gibson, La, on felony drug charges following his arrest on an outstanding warrant.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed Brandon Matthew Steele riding a bicycle in the area of LA. 662 and Felicia Street on Sunday and was aware that Steele was wanted on an outstanding criminal arrest warrant from the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office. The deputy observed Brandon Matthew Steele discard a backpack. Steele was arrested and acknowledged the presence of methamphetamine in the backpack as well as multiple doses of Klonopin on his person. Deputies were able to locate and seize both substances.

Brandon Matthew Steele was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Klonopin
*Warrant – Simple Battery

Brandon Matthew Steele remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
