ATTEMPTED SIMPLE BURGLARY – RICKIE P. SANCHEZ

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rickie P. Sanchez, 58, of 2413 Lee Drive, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges accusing him of attempting to burglarized the home of his former spouse.

Deputies responded to a complaint on West Avenue in Napolenville on Saturday and made contact with the complainant.

The victim advised that a family member noticed that her garage door was open. The complainant advised that the garage door should not have been opened. The victim further advised that Rickie P. Sanchez had been seen in the area.

Incidental to the victim’s statement, a second deputy located Rickie P. Sanchez near West Avenue and detained him.

Following the officer / suspect interview, Rickie P. Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Attempted Simple Burglary
*Entering / Remaining After Being Forbidden

Rickie P. Sanchez remains incarcerated with bond set at $40,000.
