BACK TO SCHOOL CELEBRATIONS-
NAPOLEONVILLE, BAYOU L’OURSE

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon is pleased to recognize all of the organizations who participated in recent back to school celebrations in Napoleonville and Bayou L’Ourse.

The Napoleonville event was held this past Saturday at the Assumption Parish Community Center. This event was sponsored by the Assumption Parish Federal Programs Department and AHS Alumni, Inc.

The Bayou L’Ourse event was also held this past Tuesday and was assisted by the Bayou L’Ourse Supermarket, the Bayou L’Ourse Community Center, and the Bayou L’Ourse Athletic
Association. This event was held at the Bayou L’Ourse Community Center / Ball Park.

Each event provided school supplies, uniforms, games, activities, and concessions.

As an added attraction, the Bayou L’Ourse event provided free haircuts to the children in attendance.

The sheriff’s office provided on-site deputies who conducted child fingerprinting.

Sheriff Falcon thanks all who participated in the event for supporting our area students.
