BACK TO SCHOOL GIVEAWAY

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon is pleased to report that members of his staff participated in the “Back to School Giveaway”, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Assumption Parish Community Center on LA 308 in Napoleonville.

The event was a partnership presentation between the Ward1 Recreation Board, Creative Premium Cuts and AHS Alumni, Inc.

The event provided school supplies to students from throughout the parish who were in attendance.

There were many sponsors who donated school supplies for the worthy cause ranging from local businesses to elected officials.

There were children from all areas of the parish who were supplied the necessary goods to embark on the 2024 Assumption Parish school year which begins on August 7, 2024.

Sheriff Falcon thanks all who contributed in some way or another to make the event successful.
