BATTERY UPON A DATING PARTNER, RESISTING AN OFFICER
RANDY MARK LEE
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Randy Mark Lee, 39, of 105 Faith Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on charges arising from an incident on Aristle Road on June 21, 2024.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were contacted by a complainant who advised that she and Randy Mark Lee had been in a relationship for several months. On June 21, 2024, the victim and Randy Mark Lee were on Aristle Road when he allegedly struck her in the face causing her injuries. The victim ran away from Randy Mark Lee and contacted law enforcement. The complainant / victim indicated that Lee had physically abused her in the past.
Investigating deputies noted physical injuries to the victim which supported her allegations. Randy Mark Lee had left the area prior to the deputy’s arrival.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by Acadian Ambulance.
A warrant was obtained for the arrest of Randy Mark Lee.
Deputies located Randy Mark Lee on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at a residence on Faith Street. When deputies approached Lee, he resisted deputies’ efforts to take him into custody.
Randy Mark Lee was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Battery of a Dating Partner
*Resisting an Officer
Randy Mark Lee remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
