BATTERY UPON A DATING PARTNER

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jamarius Jontrell Williams, 21, of 142 Pleasant Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from a disturbance that occurred on December 9, 2021, near Belle Rose, LA.

Deputies responded to the request for assistance and made contact with the complainant. The subsequent interview revealed that the complainant had been in a relationship with an individual identified as Jamarius Jontrell Williams. The complainant advised that on December 9, 2021, she and the suspect, Jamarius Jontrell Williams as well as the child, were in the residence when Jamarius Jontrell Williams became angry and pulled a gun on her. At the time, deputies arrived, the suspect was no longer there. A warrant was applied for and subsequently granted.

The suspect Jamarius Jontrell Williams was arrested by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office on Friday evening. He was transferred and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault Upon a Dating Partner with Child Endangerment

Jamarius Jontrell Williams was incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.
