BEGINNING OF SUGAR CANE GRINDING SEASON

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reminds the motoring public that on September 29, 2020, the Assumption Parish sugar cane grinding season will begin.

While the sugar cane grinding season is an important economic period for our parish, it comes with increased risks on our roadway. Please be vigilant of large farm equipment traversing the roadways.

Let’s all do our part to make the season a safe and successful one.
