CADET GRADUATION CEREMONIES – SLATER BLANCHARD,
BRITTANY WIGGINS, BRAXTON THIBODAUX

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon is pleased to announce the graduation of three deputies from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Basic Training Academy.

Deputies Slater Blanchard and Braxton Thibodaux graduated as Level I, Basic Law Enforcement Peace Officers. Blanchard and Thibodaux underwent physical training as well as instruction on patrol, narcotics, criminal investigations, traffic, D.W.I. enforcement, search and seizure, firearm proficiency and numerous other law-enforcement related subjects.

Deputy Brittany Wiggins graduated as a Level II Corrections Officer and underwent training which included day to day functions of a correctional facility, civil liability, inmate rights and numerous other subjects related to corrections.

Graduation was held on Tuesday evening in Thibodaux.

All three deputies are currently employed by the Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Falcon congratulates deputies Slater Blanchard, Brittany Wiggins and Braxton Thibodaux on successfully completing their respective basic training levels.
