DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER CAMPAIGN

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon in conjunction with the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration and the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission are pleased to announce the “Click it or Ticket”, national mobilization that will run from May 22, 2023, through June 4, 2023.

The combined venture aims at making our citizens safer through the use of mandated restraint systems (seat belts, shoulder harnesses).

Assumption Parish deputies will be taking enforcement actions and will also use the opportunity to educate our drivers on the importance of compliance. Once again, Click it or Ticket!

A second holiday period beginning August 18, 2023, through September 4, 2023, will target intoxicated drivers in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign during the Labor Day holiday. Each year, thousands of lives are lost nationwide due to impaired drivers.

We urge everyone to designate a driver if you will consume alcoholic beverages. Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over!
