COMPLAINT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
ROY ANTHONY OLIER, JR.

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Roy Anthony Olier, Jr., 55, of 1909 Highway 1, Thibodaux, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a complaint deputies investigated Tuesday morning in Labadieville.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 2600 block of LA 308 in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who was a relative of Roy Anthony Olier, Jr. Deputies located Roy Anthony Olier, Jr. and noted him to be acting in a strange manner.

During the investigation, Roy Anthony Olier, Jr. told deputies he had relapsed back into an illegal drug use habit. Deputies did seize a quantity of methamphetamine from Roy Anthony Olier, Jr.

Deputies arrested Olier and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine

Roy Anthony Oliver, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
