COMPLIANCE CHECK, PROBATION / PAROLE, DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – LANCE METREJEAN

PIERRE PART– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lance Metrejean, 49, of 233 North Bay Road, Pierre Part, La., on felony drug charges following a compliance check by the Division of Probation and Parole and Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Agents.

Lance Metrejean is a convicted felon and currently on probation and as such is subject to compliance checks.

On Tuesday morning, agents from Probation and Parole and Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents went to 233 North Bay Road for the purpose of completing a compliance check. Agent’s made contact with Lance Metrejean and during a search of his residence, agent’s seized methamphetamine and marijuana.

Lance Metrejean was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Probation / Parole Detainer

Lance Metrejean remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing on the drug charges and he was ordered held without bond on the probation / parole detainer.
