CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A JUVENILE – FELONY- QUSHAWN S. BEASLEY

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Qushawn S. Beasley, 23, of 128 Belle Point Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from an attempted traffic stop / pursuit on January 14, 2025.

On the aforementioned date, an I.C.E. assigned deputy attempted a traffic stop on Highway 1 south of Napoleonville. The suspect driver fled from deputies resulting in a pursuit that continued into Lafourche Parish. The suspect driver was identified at the time as Dermonta Frazier, 24, of 136 Palm Lane, Labadieville, LA. Frazier was arrested at the time.

During follow-up investigation, deputies determined that there was a juvenile in the vehicle at the time, as well as the domestic partner of Dermonta Frazier now identified as Qushawn S. Beasley. Deputies determined that Qushawn S. Beasley instructed the juvenile to remove a bag from the suspect vehicle and deliver it to an address in Thibodaux. That bag allegedly contained a high-powered assault style rifle. The juvenile was taken into custody.

At the conclusion of the investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of Qushawn S. Beasley.

Qushawn S. Beasley was received from the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on February 10, 2025.

Qushawn S. Beasley was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile – Felony
*Criminal Mischief
Qushawn S. Beasley remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
