CONVICTED FELON – GUN LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Harrison A. Truehill, 37, of 612 Martin Luther King, Napoleonville, LA, on multiple felony charges arising out of a traffic stop in Napoleonville on Friday afternoon.
A uniformed patrol officer observed a vehicle near LA 1 and Martin Luther King, commit a traffic violation.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Harrison A. Truehill and the deputy conducted an officer / operator interview. The deputy was notified by communications that Harrison A. Truehill was driving under a suspended driver’s license and was a fugitive from the City of Thibodaux.
During a search of the suspect vehicle, deputies seized a large caliber handgun. The investigating officers determined that Harrison A. Truehill was a prior convicted felon. Harrison A. Truehill was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons
*Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License
*Illegal Window Tint
*Obstruction to Driver’s View or Driving Mechanism
Harrison A. Truehill was released on a $125,000 bond.
