CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION – SEARCH WARRANT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – BRUCE JOSEPH FAIR, JR., AMAYA SIMONE BOUGERE
PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr., 28, of 117 Thomas Street, Paincourtville, LA, and Amaya Simone Bougere, 21, of 117 Thomas Street, Paincourtville, LA, on felony drug law violations arising from an investigation being conducted by the Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday afternoon, Sheriff’s deputies, narcotics agents, and detectives went to a residence in the 100 block of Thomas Street in Paincourtville as part of an ongoing investigation. Law enforcement personnel from the Sheriff’s Office converged on that residence and proceeded to execute a search warrant.
During the execution of the search warrant, deputies detained two suspects now identified as Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. and Amaya Simone Bougere. As a result of that search, quantities of Hydrocodone, Ecstasy (MDMA), marijuana, and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized.
Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr., was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Hydrocodone
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Ecstasy (MDMA)
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Amaya Simone Bougere was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Hydrocodone with Intent to Distribute
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Ecstasy (MDMA)
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Amaya Simone Bougere remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
