CRUELTY TO THE INFIRMED – DEAN EDWARD HUE, JR.

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dean Edward Hue, Jr., 21, of 8048 Highway 343, Maurice, LA, following an incident near Belle Rose on Friday.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in connection with a disturbance and made contact with the complainant. Deputies were able to determine that Dean Edward Hue, Jr. had become enraged and physically attacked two elderly residents and caused damage to their home.

Based on evidence of damage to the interior of the residence as well as physical injuries inflicted upon two infirmed persons, deputies arrested Dean Edward Hue, Jr. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Cruelty to the Infirmed (2 Counts)
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Possession of Marijuana
*Sale, Possession, Distribution of a Legend Drug without a Prescription

Dean Edward Hue, Jr. was incarcerated with bond set at $15,000.
