CYBER CRIMES / OBSCENITY – JUDE ANTHONY ALBARADO
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jude Anthony Albarado, 22, of 2466 Highway 308. Labadieville, LA, on felony charges related to multiple cases of cyber stalking and obscenity.
In September of this year, detectives initiated an investigation related to a complaint filed by an individual from Belle Rose who reported receiving harassing messages via electronic devices.
While investigating this complaint, detectives were able to identify multiple other individuals as likely victims.
Expanded investigation confirmed that the suspect, Jude Anthony Albarado was the person who had electronically delivered lewd and lascivious messages and photos to the victims.
The victims have all been identified and contacted by detectives. The time period involved is October 2020 through September 2021.
Jude Anthony Albarado was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Obscenity (9 Counts)
*Cyberstalking (10 Counts)
Jude Anthony Albarado remains incarcerated with bond set at $150,000. At the time of this arrest, Jude Anthony Albarado was serving a 2 ½ year sentence for a prior felony conviction.
