D.W.I. FOURTH OFFENSE – SOLOMON WISE

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Solomon Wise, 53, of 120 Nora T. Lane, Thibodaux, LA, on felony D.W.I. charges following a traffic stop in Plattenville on Friday morning.

A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation near LA 308 and Spur 70. The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver now identified as Solomon Wise. The deputy noted a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from his person and determined that Solomon Wise was driving under a suspended license. Wise appeared to be incoherent and his balance and turning was affected.

Solomon Wise was arrested and transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center at which time he refused to submit to a breath sample analysis.

Solomon Wise was booked on charges of:

*Driving While Intoxicated – Fourth Offense
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic

Solomon Wise remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
