DEPUTIES RESPOND TO A COMPLAINT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

BELLE RIVER – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of David Wayne Crain, 28, of 4331 Highway 70 South, Pierre Part, LA, arising from a complaint deputies investigated on Wednesday evening.

Deputies responded to the complaint and made contact with the complainant who advised that David Wayne Crain may be hallucinating as he was acting strangely.

During the complaint investigation, deputies seized a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia which was attributed to David Wayne Crain.

David Wayne Crain was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

David Wayne Crain remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
