DISTURBANCE – DYLAN JOSEPH RIVERE
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dylan Joseph Rivere, 37, of 139 Paul Street, Pierre Part, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from a disturbance complaint at a residence in the 100 block of Paul Street in Pierre Part on Sunday night.
Upon arrival, deputies encountered Dylan Joseph Rivere who was hostile and uncooperative from his initial contact with deputies. At some point, deputies attempted to take Dylan Joseph Rivere into custody at which time he became confrontational and very aggressive with deputies. Dylan Joseph Rivere physically struck responding deputies and at one point attempted to disarm a deputy by grabbing at his taser.
Dylan Joseph Rivere was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Battery of a Peace Officer – 2 Counts
*Disarming of a Peace Officer – Crime of Violence
*Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence – 2 Counts
*Disturbing the Peace
Dylan Joseph Rivere was treated at a local health care facility and released.
A deputy was also treated for injuries and released.
Dylan Joseph Rivere remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
