DISTURBANCE – JACOB D. ALBERES
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jacob D. Alberes, 29, of 6711 Highway 996, Belle Rose, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from a domestic disturbance near Brusly St. Martin on Tuesday evening.
Deputies responded to a complaint at the aforementioned location and made contact with a male subject who advised that Jacob D. Alberes came to the home at 6711 Highway 996 armed with a firearm demanding that he leave the residence.
During the confrontation, the accused, now identified as Jacob D. Alberes, removed personal belongings of the complainant and poured gasoline upon those belongings.
Additionally, deputies viewed electronic communication sent by the accused which was threatening in nature.
Jacob D. Alberes presented himself at the parish detention center and was interviewed by deputies.
Based upon physical evidence as well as witness and suspect interviews, Jacob D. Alberes was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Unlawful Entry into an Inhabited Dwelling
*Criminal Trespass
Jacob D. Alberes remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
