DISTURBANCE – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
RENDELL DAMAL KING

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rendell Damal King, 32, of 447 Karla Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on felony aggravated assault charges arising from a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of Gold Street on Tuesday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with the complainant who advised she and the suspect now identified as Rendell Damal King engaged in an argument and at some point, King produced a handgun.

Deputies made contact with Rendell Damal King at the scene and conducted a pat down search of King. During the search, deputies seized a firearm, marijuana and oxycodone. Rendell Damal King was arrested. At the time of the incident, there were children present.

Rendell Damal King was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Oxycodone
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Fugitive – Lafourche Parish

Rendell Damal King remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
