DISTURBANCE – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of James Tilly Jones, 47, of 6753 Cezanne Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA, following a disturbance on Saturday afternoon.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 4400 block of LA 308 and made contact with the complainant. Deputies interviewed the involved parties and at the conclusion of the investigation arrested James Tilly Jones for brandishing a knife in a threatening manner.

James Tilly Jones was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Dangerous Weapon

James Tilly Jones remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
