DISTURBANCE – AGGRAVATED BATTERY – DANNY JOSEPH LANDRY
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Danny Joseph Landry, 19, of 132 Highway 1011, Napoleonville, La., on multiple felony charges arising from an incident in Belle River on Sunday Evening.
Uniformed patrol deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 4300 Block of LA. 70 in reference to a disturbance involving the illegal use of a weapon.
Deputies made contact with several individuals who were parties to the incident.
During the investigation, deputies determined that an individual now identified as Danny Joseph Landry was involved in an altercation and allegedly put a gun to the head of one of the complainants. Deputies did recover electronic video evidence related to the incident.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies arrested Danny Joseph Landry and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Assault With a Firearm
*Aggravated Battery
*Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile
*Criminal Mischief
*Disturbing the Peace
Danny Joseph Landry remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
