DISTURBANCE COMPLAINT – EMMA JAMES LEWIS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Emma James Lewis, 60, of 108 College Point Lane, Plattenville, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident at the aforementioned address on Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with one of the involved parties, now identified as Emma James Lewis and obtained her version.
Deputies then made contact with the second party at a local hospital and interviewed him as well.
Deputies noted a significant laceration requiring medical treatment to the victim’s head.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies determined that the suspect and the victim were involved in an argument and Emma James Lewis at some point struck the victim in the head with a tire jack handle.
Deputies arrested Emma James Lewis and booked her into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Second Degree Battery
*Disturbing the Peace
Emma James Lewis remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
