DISTURBANCE – DOMESTIC, NOAH PAUL STANSBURY

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Noah Paul Stansbury, 18, of 138 Felicia Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident at the aforementioned address Saturday morning.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with all parties including the suspect now identified as Noah Paul Stansbury.  Deputies determined that Stansbury became enraged and caused damage to the residence and its contents.  Furthermore, Noah Paul Stansbury armed himself with a dangerous weapon and attempted to strike a family member.  At the time of this incident, Stansbury was under an active protective order in favor of a resident of the home.

Noah Paul Stansbury was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

• Domestic Abuse Battery / Aggravated Assault
• Domestic Abuse Battery
• Violation of a Protective Order

Noah Paul Stansbury remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
