NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dusty James Falcon, 38, of 331 Half Oak Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on felony charges resulting from a domestic complaint late Tuesday night.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the vicinity of LA 400 south of Napoleonville. The caller indicated that a close family member had showed up at her home and began banging on the door. The suspect then got into his pick-up truck and spun rocks and gravel onto another vehicle at the residence. The suspect was identified by the complainant as Dusty James Falcon.
Responding deputies observed the suspect vehicle commit a traffic violation near LA 400 and LA 1010. Deputies attempted to initiate a violator stop but the suspect fled and drove back to LA 400 and pulled into a private drive. Deputies attempted to detain Dusty James Falcon resulting in a struggle.
Dusty James Falcon was arrested. A search of Falcon’s vehicle, following an open-air sniff by a K-9, resulted in the seizure of meth-amphetamine. The suspect allegedly ingested illegal drugs as well.
Dusty James Falcon was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center where he was booked on charges of:
*Obstruction of Justice
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence
*Flight from an Officer
*Disturbing the Peace
*Driving Under Suspension
*Turning Movements and Signals Required
Dusty James Falcon was incarcerated with a bond set at $20,000.
