DISTURBANCE – FELONY ARREST- CLAY P. METREJEAN, III
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Clay P. Metrejean, III, 33, of 248 South Bay Road, Pierre Part, La., on felony charges arising from a disturbance at a residence on South Bay Road on March 29,2026. Deputies were dispatched to the residence on the aforementioned date and made contact with the complainant / victim. Deputies were advised that the victim went to the location for the purpose of retrieving a child. The suspect now identified as Clay P. Metrejean, III, allegedly committed multiple batteries upon the victim requiring medical treatment from ambulance personnel.
Deputies observed injuries to the victim consistent with statements she made. Metrejean also allegedly caused damage to the victim’s personal property.
Clay P. Metrejean, III, was no longer at the scene when deputies arrived. Deputies obtained warrants for the arrest of Clay. P. Metrejean, III.
On Sunday afternoon, Clay P. Metrejean, III, was arrested at 248 South Bay Road. Metrejean was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Battery of a Dating Partner, Child Endangerment
*Violation of a Protective Order
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
Clay P. Metrejean, III, remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
