DISTURBANCE – FELONY CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brandon Maurice Harris, Jr., 33, of 397 Enola Road, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges following a disturbance near Paincourtville, LA.
On Friday afternoon, deputies responded to a disturbance complaint on Grant Loop Road in Paincourtville. Upon arrival, deputies determined that a verbal altercation had occurred between the complainant and Brandon Harris.
At some point, Harris retreated to his vehicle and returned with a baseball bat. Harris allegedly began to break the windows on the complainant’s automobile.
After assessing all aspects of the incident, Brandon Maurice Harris, Jr., was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Criminal Damage to Property (Felony)
Harris was incarcerated and later released on a $1000 cash bond.
The baseball bat was filed into evidence.
