DISTURBANCE – FIGHT – SECOND DEGREE BATTERY
LASHUNE RENE STEWARD

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lashune Rene Steward, 39, of 176 Peterville Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from a disturbance and a fight at a residence in the 100 block of Grisaffe Lane in Belle Rose on May 24, 2023.

On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with several subjects who were either involved or were witnesses to a large fight.

Deputies initiated an investigation and at its conclusion filed criminal charges against three individuals, including Lashune Rene Steward who had avoided arrest until now.

Lashune Rene Steward turned herself into the parish detention facility on Thursday morning at which time she was booked on a warrant charging her with:

*Second Degree Battery

Lashune Rene Steward remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
