DISTURBANCE – FUGITIVE WARRANTS
DWAYNE RAINEY, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dwayne Rainey, Jr., 39, of 174 Highway 1008, Napoleonville, LA, on multiple fugitive warrants following a disturbance call at 174 Highway 1008.
Deputies were dispatched to that location on Sunday because the suspect was beating on the door of his mother’s home and he had been forbidden from being there.
Upon arrival, Dwayne Rainey, Jr., had departed the area, but deputies spotted him in the Martin Luther King and St. Mary Street, areas. As deputies approached, Rainey bolted, but was apprehended a short time later.
Upon conducting a computer check, it was determined that Rainey was wanted in multiple jurisdictions.
Rainey was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Resisting an Officer (2 Counts)
*Fugitive – Lafourche Parish
*Fugitive – Terrebonne Parish
*Failure to Appear – Criminal Neglect of Family – Assumption Parish
Dwayne Rainey, Jr., was incarcerated and upon satisfying local charges, will be released to respective jurisdictions.
