DISTURBANCE, HOME INVASION, AGGRAVATED BATTERY DUNCAN J. WIGGINS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Duncan J. Wiggins, 39, of 123 Louis Lane, Napoleonville, La., on multiple felony charges arising from a disturbance complaint in the 100 block of Georgette Street, south of Napoleonville on Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with the complainant who advised that Duncan J. Wiggins had forced his way into her home and had punched her 11-year-old child.
Deputies initiated an investigation and determined that Duncan J. Wiggins had gone to the home, which was the home of a relative, making demands for something he thought someone stole from him. Wiggins allegedly made forced entry into the home and punched a child which deputies were able to confirm. As Duncan made entry into the home, the door struck the child.
Duncan J. Wiggins was located on Louis Lane near Napoleonville and arrested. Wiggins was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Home Invasion
*Cruelty to Juveniles with Force or Violence
*Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
Duncan J. Wiggins remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
