DISTURBANCE – TERRORIZING – DEON’DRE D. MARTIN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Deon’Dre D. Martin, 17, of 6751 Highway 1, Belle Rose, La., on felony charges arising from an incident near Napoleonville on April 29,2026.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a call of a disturbance involving two juveniles.
The deputy made contact with one of the parties involved who indicated the incident was a continuation of an issue that occurred one day prior.
As a result of the investigation of this matter, deputies arrested three individuals who were booked on a variety of criminal charges. Deputies identified Deon’Dre D. Martin as being an individual involved in the April 29,2026 incident. Deputies determined that Martin had made threats of violence while on a local school campus. When deputies attempted to arrest Deon’Dre D. Martin, he fled on foot. Deputies secured arrest warrants for Deon’Dre D. Martin.
Deputies arrested Deon’Dre D. Martin in Napoleonville on Monday morning. Martin was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Terrorizing
*Resisting an Officer
*Disturbing the Peace
Deon’Dre D. Martin remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
