DISTURBING THE PEACE, OBSCENITY

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ty Quang Thai, 53, of 261 Vivian Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony obscenity charges arising from an incident in Bayou L’Ourse on Friday afternoon.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of LA 398 and LA 662 in reference to an individual who appeared to be intoxicated and had exposed himself in an obscene manner.

Deputies made contact with the complainant at a local retail establishment who indicated that the subject was asked to leave the premises and did so. The subject left walking and at some point, did expose himself.

The investigating deputy located that suspect now identified as Ty Quang Thai. The deputy noted that Thai appeared to be intoxicated and became belligerent and argumentative with the deputy.

Ty Quang Thai was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Disturbing the Peace by Intoxication
*Obscenity

Ty Quang Thai remains incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.
