DOMESTIC ABUSE – JOSEPH HIRAM CLARK

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Joseph Hiram Clark, 32, of 2996 Highway 1, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident which occurred near Labadieville on Friday morning.

Deputies were dispatched to an afterhours business early Friday morning in reference to a disturbance. The victim and eventual suspect were gone prior to deputies’ arrival.

Later that morning, deputies were provided electronic video evidence that captured the event. As a result, deputies were able to identify and locate the suspect, now identified as Joseph Hiram Clark. The victim was located and identified.

During an interview, the victim provided specific details including that Clark had pushed her and dragged her by her hair.

Deputies arrested Joseph Hiram Clark and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Friday on charges of:

*Felony Domestic Abuse Battery

Joseph Hiram Clark remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
