DOMESTIC ABUSE – JEREMY HERRON, CHASTITY BUTLER

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy Herron, 42, of 207 Sparrow Street, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic dispute on Friday evening in Labadieville, LA.

Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned address in reference to a stolen license plate. In the meantime, deputies made contact with a female identified as Chastity Butler, 42, of 1805 Elm Street, Patterson, LA., who was a domestic partner of Jeremy Herron.

During this investigative stop, deputies determined that Chastity Butler and Jeremy Herron were at the Sparrow Street address when Herron became angry and allegedly repeatedly struck Butler.

Deputies noted injuries to Butler consistent with domestic abuse.

Deputies then made contact with Jeremy Herron at 207 Sparrow Street and conducted an interview of him concerning the confrontation.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Jeremy Herron was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

Herron was released on a $20,000 bond.

Chastity Butler was issued a summons for theft of a license plate from a vehicle and released with a court date.
