DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT – DONTRELL LEE DORSEY, SR.

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dontrell Lee Dorsey, Sr., on felony domestic abuse charges arising from an incident late Saturday night at a residence south of Napoleonville.

Uniformed patrol deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Georgette Street in reference to a domestic dispute. Contact was made with the complainant who advised that she and her domestic partner engaged in a disagreement over a personal issue. During that confrontation, the spouse now identified as Dontrell Lee Dorsey, Sr. physically attacked the complainant / victim.

Investigating deputies noted physical injuries to the victim’s face consistent with domestic abuse.
At the time of the incident, there were minor children present.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies secured an arrest warrant for Dontrell Lee Dorsey, Sr.

Dontrell Lee Dorsey, Sr. was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Dontrell Lee Dorsey, Sr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
