DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT
DWAYNE CURTIS WARD

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dwayne Curtis Ward, 41, of 131 Pleasant Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on charges related to a domestic disturbance near Belle Rose on Thursday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned address and made contact with the purported victim. That individual, who is a female domestic partner, indicated that the accused, Dwayne Curtis Ward had initiated an argument which progressed to a physical altercation. During that event, Dwayne Ward did cause noticeable physical injuries to the victim. At the time of the incident, a minor child was present.

Dwayne Curtis Ward was not on scene when the investigating officer arrived, but did return to the scene prior to the deputy’s departure.

Dwayne Curtis Ward was placed under arrest and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Ward was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
