DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE – COREY J. ROBERTSON

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Corey J. Robertson on charges related to a domestic incident south of Napoleonville on Saturday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the call at a residence near LA 400 and made contact with the complainant as well as the suspect, now identified as Corey J. Robertson. Deputies interviewed both parties and determined that they had been in a relationship and on Saturday got into a heated argument. At some point, Robertson put his hands around the victim’s neck which left noticeable markings.

At the time of the incident, other persons were present including a 1-year-old child.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Corey J. Robertson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

Corey J. Robertson remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
