DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE -ANTHONY AYRO

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Anthony Ayro, 46, of 1724 S. Barbier St., Thibodaux, La., on felony charges arising from a domestic incident on Sunday morning at a residence in the 100 block of Jerome Court near Labadieville.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic incident. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Anthony Ayro had forced his way into the home unauthorized and committed a battery upon her. The accused attempted to have the complainant cancel her call for assistance she had just made to the sheriff’s office.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies believed that probable cause was sufficient to arrest Anthony Ayro. He was taken into custody at the scene.

Anthony Ayro was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery
*Home Invasion
*Interfering with Emergency Communications

Anthony Ayro posted a $57,500 commercial bond.
