DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE, FUGITIVE – WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH – MAURICE ANTHONY BABIN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Maurice Anthony Babin, 31, of 1665 St. Francis Lane, St. Gabriel, LA, on charges arising from a domestic incident at a residence near Robin Street, south of Napoleonville. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Maurice Anthony Babin was creating a disturbance. The subject had already left the scene, but returned and was irate. Deputies determined that Maurice Anthony Babin was wanted on fugitive warrants from West Baton Rouge Parish. Maurice Anthony Babin was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery
*No Liability Insurance
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Fugitive Warrant – West Baton Rouge Parish on Charges of:
-Domestic Abuse Battery
-Simple Criminal Damage to Property less than $1,000
Maurice Anthony Babin remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing. Upon satisfying local charges, Maurice Anthony Babin will be released to the custody of the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.
