DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE INVOLVING VIOLENCE

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Samantha Jolene Cedotal, 24, of 5622 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges resulting from a domestic incident early Saturday morning.

Deputies responded to a call of a domestic disturbance at a residence on LA 401. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who indicated a domestic couple residing there had been drinking and disputing all day. Deputies located the party and interviewed all present.

Deputies concluded by all of the evidence and witness statements, that during the course of this day long confrontation, Samantha Jolene Cedotal retrieved a knife and stabbed her husband.

As a result, one-person was injured and transported to a Baton Rouge Hospital.

Two children and another adult were uninjured.

Samantha Jolene Cedotal was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Second Degree Battery
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

Cedotal remains incarcerated in lieu of $7,500 bond.
