LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Divone Jared Davis, 29, of 6038, Highway 308, Paincourtville, LA, on felony charges following a domestic incident near Grand Bayou, LA.

On Saturday afternoon, deputies responded to a report of a domestic incident and made contact with the complainant as well as the accused.

The complainant advised that Divone Jared Davis had struck her during an argument. The deputy observed physical injury to the complainant. Based on the outcome of the investigation, deputies determined that probable cause existed to arrest the suspect.

Divone Jared Davis was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
*Warrant for Failure to Appear

It was determined that a minor child was present during the commission of this crime.

Divone Jared Davis remains incarcerated with bond set at $2,600.
