DOMESTIC INCIDENT – LATISHA SHANKESHIA DAVIS, JESSICA DANIELLE HUFFMAN

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Latisha Shankeshia Davis, 40 of 110 Pugh Street, Paincourtville, LA and Jessica Danielle Huffman, 27, of 8251-1 Mill Street, St. James, LA, in connection with an ongoing domestic dispute that originated at the 110 Pugh Street address.

This is a domestic matter between partners that has been in dispute for a lengthy time period.

On Monday, deputies were dispatched to the location to investigate a suspicious call that was reported to the dispatch center.

As a result of this ongoing situation, reciprocal warrants were executed resulting in the arrests of Latisha Shankeshia Davis and Jessica Danielle Huffman.

Latisha Shankeshia Davis was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Prohibition on the Possession of Firearms by a Person Against Whom a Protection Order is Issued
*Violation of Protective Orders

Jessica Danielle Huffman was arrested and booked into the parish detention center on a charge of:
*Violation of Protective Orders

Both Latisha Shankeshia Davis and Jessica Danielle Huffman remain incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
