DANNY EARL BELL, CHRISTINE MICHELLE BELL

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Danny Earl Bell, 40, of 81375 Lakeshore Drive, Ethel, LA and Christine Michelle Bell, 48 of 7824 Paul Street, Ethel, LA, on felony drug charges following a domestic incident on Sunday.

Deputies were dispatched to the 4808 block of LA 308 after dispatch was notified of a possible domestic incident involving a male and female. Deputies observed a vehicle matching the description provided to dispatch and were able to stop the vehicle.

At this time, deputies were able to identify a male subject as Danny Earl Bell and a female identified as Christine Michelle Bell.

Deputies conducted a pat down search for security reasons and seized a quantity of methamphetamine. Continued investigation resulted in the seizure of additional methamphetamine.

The investigating officers determined through investigation that the individuals were married but currently separated and had been involved in a physical confrontation. At the conclusion of the investigation, both Danny Earl Bell and Christine Michelle Bell were arrested.

Danny Earl Bell was booked on counts of:

*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Domestic Abuse Battery

Christine Michelle Bell was booked on charges of:

*Possession of Methamphetamine

Danny Earl Bell and Christine Michelle Bell remain incarcerated in the Assumption Parish Detention Center pending bond hearings.
