DOMESTIC INCIDENT – HELEN NORA WILLIAMS

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Helen Nora Williams, 56, of 2969 Highway 1, Apartment G, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident in Labadieville on Sunday.

Deputies responded to the aforementioned address and made contact with the involved parties including the suspect, now identified as Helen Nora Williams.

After interviewing the victim and the suspect, deputies determined that the two parties were domestic partners. At some point on Sunday, the victim and the suspect engaged in an argument which turned physical. During the incident, the victim sustained wounds to the back of his head. Deputies did recover evidence including a knife.

Deputies arrested Helen Nora Williams and booked her into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery
*Aggravated Second Degree Battery

Williams remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

The victim’s injuries were not life threatening.
