DOMESTIC INCIDENT – TRAVONTA DAMAL AUSAMA

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Travonta Damal Ausama, 28, of 413 Owens Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic dispute late Tuesday at an Owens Street residence.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with the complainant who advised that Travonta Damal Ausama had engaged her in a verbal manner that quickly turned physical. The deputy noted injuries consistent with domestic abuse and concluded that arrest was appropriate in this matter.

The deputy was able to locate the suspect a short time later.

Travonta Damal Ausama was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Resisting an Officer
*Domestic Abuse Battery (Felony)
*Theft

Travonta Damal Ausama remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
