DOMESTIC INCIDENT – TRAVIS NATHANIEL WILLIAMS

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Travis Nathaniel Williams, 23, of 6012 Grant Road, Paincourtville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident at the aforementioned address on late Saturday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to 6012 Grand Road in reference to an unknown medical emergency. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Travis Nathaniel Williams had destroyed her belongings and committed battery upon two female subjects.

Investigating deputies observed evidence in support of the complainants’ allegations.

At some point during the deputies’ investigation, Travis Nathaniel Williams attempted to re-enter the home. Deputies gave specific commands to Williams, which he refused to comply with. Travis Nathaniel Williams engaged deputies into a physical confrontation. Deputies were able to quickly neutralize Williams and placed him under arrest.

Travis Nathaniel Williams was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Felony Domestic Abuse Battery – 2 Counts
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Resisting an Officer – 3 Counts

Travis Nathaniel Williams remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
