DOMESTIC INCIDENT – GARY JOSEPH BUSINELLE, III

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Gary Joseph Businelle, III, 28, of 106 Reno Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony domestic charges arising from an incident Saturday evening in Pierre Part.

Deputies were dispatched to the Reno Street address in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant / victim who is the domestic partner of the accused, now identified as Gary Joseph Businelle, III. At first view, deputies observed the victim with obvious facial injuries. The victim identified Gary Joseph Businelle, III as the person that inflicted the injuries upon her.

Deputies entered the home in question and made contact with Gary Joseph Businelle, II and noted him to appear intoxicated and hostile.

Gary Joseph Businelle, III was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

There were young children present at the time of this incident.

Gary Joseph Businelle, III remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
