DOMESTIC INCIDENT – KENDALL ALEXANDER WASHINGTON

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kendall Alexander Washington, 20, of 221 North Brown Avenue, Gonzales, LA, arising from a domestic incident which occurred on August 17, 2024, and originated in the Belle Rose area.

On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 6500 block of LA 1 in connection to a disturbance.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant / victim who advised that she and a companion now identified as Kendall Alexander Washington were at a family gathering on Virginia Street near Klotzville when he became angry over a personal issue. Washington allegedly grabbed the victim and forcefully walked her to his vehicle, and they left the area at which time she requested that he bring her to a relative’s home. Upon arrival, Kendall Alexander Washington and the complainant argued and at some point, he struck her in the face. Washington then allegedly got into his vehicle and began to drive off. The suspect then backed up to the residence and threw a bottle of liquor through a large sliding window shattering the window. The suspect then drove off.

Deputies conducted an investigation and at its conclusion determined that probable cause existed to file criminal charges against Kendall Alexander Washington.

On August 19, 2024, Kendall Alexander Washington was arrested by Gonzales City Police on the Assumption Parish warrants.

Kendall Alexander Washington was transferred to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Kendall Alexander Washington was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Battery of a Dating Partner
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property Valued at $2,000

Kendall Alexander Washington remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
